We had our annual pumpkin carving party yesterday (Sunday). The past few years it has been on a Friday night, but given the addition of the Pair of Scates and assorted baby friends, we decided to have it on Sunday afternoon which would allow more people to attend. As an added bonus, daytime = warmer, plus it gave us more time to get ready instead of frantically scurrying around to finalize things.
Unfortunately, this is also the time of year when people start getting colds/sick, and since everyone is really sensitive to and supportive of our efforts to shield the girls from illness, there were a few sets of friends that were unable to attend. We missed you, but thank you for your support!
Lots of friends, lots of food, lots of pumpkin carving, and two cute twins girls on a sunshiny, beautiful afternoon in October. What could be better?
Ashley was the big winner of this year's contest (and won her very own "My Pet Ghost"). Since Bobby won last year, looks like we've started a Menkedick streak! Tim won the prize for the "worst" pumpkin, which actually was really good (they were all really impressive, actually).
