The girls are three months old today! Someone asked me if it has gone by quickly ... I'd say yes. In fact, sometimes I forget we are halfway through June; I feel stuck in April or May (although going outside into the heat helps remind me quickly).
Abby and I went up to the NICU again to visit Hazel. Today didn't go nearly as well as yesterday's visit, as Abby was a bit more high maintenance. To be fair, though, we have settled into a routine at home, and so this was probably an adjustment for her. Plus, honestly, I think it really depends on the nurses that are in NICU3 when we visit - some I'm just more comfortable/familiar with than others, and today's nurse was a new one for us.
Hazel is still doing well. I was able to feed her while we were up at the NICU, and witnessed one of her throwups for the first time. She was eating, stopped, had a strange look, and then it came out of her mouth and nose. Poor thing. Fortunately for me, Hazel had a nice arc to it, missing my lap and just hitting the floor. She ate a bit afterwards but was still a bit fussy, so I tried to hold her for awhile (which seemed to help) until Abby made her presence known and I had to tend to that.
Since it was a milestone of sorts, I brought in some cookies and muffins for the nurses, which they seemed to appreciate. Matt visited tonight too, and told me Rachel and the night nurses really liked it too.
Random note of the day: at one point there were three (3!) Nancys in NICU3 yesterday (two nurses and me). This may be the first time I've been around that many Nancys at the same time, as it is not that common of a name.
Pics for the day! I put both girls in Hazel's crib again, but this time it was Abby crying more (although Hazel did a bit too).

Traveling and being cute is really hard work. |

Note the sock on her hand. Matt got a good laugh seeing that. |
