More Pictures, Plus Bath Time

So far, so good.  Matt and I seem to have gotten more of a rhythm with this newborn thing.

Matt visited Hazel last night while I stayed home with Abby and we watched Game 4 of the Thunder/Spurs basketball game.  Well, to be honest, she didn't really watch - she was up for awhile, but finally fell asleep in the 4th quarter.  Even without watching, Abby does have dribbling down (just without a ball). ;)

Hazel still seems to enjoy her time at the NICU, because the countdown has restarted ... again.  She had a brady while sleeping yesterday, and her heart rate dipped a few times while Matt was holding her last night.  (He said he recited the speech Superman's dad gave to Superman to Hazel, as it seemed fitting.  Hopefully it helps.)  When I spoke to the nurse today, she said Hazel also had another projectile vomiting episode today (that would be three in three days), so they are going to try feeding her more often and having her crib slightly raised to see if that helps.  Ah, Hazel.

It has been interesting to see the animals' reaction to having a baby in the house.  The cats have basically ignored her - although Little One still has moments when he tries to get in my lap, even when there is a baby in it.  Merry-dog seems curious, but also gives us looks (when Abby is crying) like "why did you bring that loud thing home?"  She - the dog - has stuck pretty close to us.  The other interesting thing - and good thing - is that Abby barely stirs when Merry decides to bark at the doorbell or the neighbor dog or a passerby.  I'm sure the time in the NICU helped with sleeping through noise, although she seems to do well during quiet times, too.

Abby received her first at-home bath in our new bathtub (a gift from my Aunt Myrrel Lee and Uncle Gary).  Matt took some cute pics.  I've also added an assortment of pictures from the last two days.

Who, me?

"This smells like ... baby."

Whoa.

More napping on mom.  Doesn't her hair look reddish in this picture?
