I turned 36 years old today. My, it is amazing what can happen in a year...at this time last year I wasn't even pregnant, and now I have 5.5 month old twin girls! :)
Matt is still out of town (will be until Monday), so the girls decided to wake up early (5:30 am) to wish me happy birthday! How sweet of them. :) Since it was a Friday, and the Friday before Labor Day, after finishing a few things at work I took off after lunch, ran a quick errand to Hobby Lobby, and then headed home early. Karen and the girls got me a really nice birthday gift (a frame with pictures of the girls taken a few weeks prior by Gwen), and I also received flowers from my parents and beautiful roses from Matt (best card ever). Then, the four of us went over to Becky and Daniel's, who had cooked an awesome dinner (steak, homemade mashed potatoes) and dessert (cake, made from scratch). Yum!
All in all, a good day.
