The girls enjoyed their first ever Super Bowl yesterday! We had a small group of friends over (and had entirely too much food, as always), so I think the girls focused more on the attention from people instead of the game (or the commercials). Their football onesies still fit, though, so at least they looked the part! :)
Based on yesterday, it looks like we are getting closer and closer to somebody crawling. In the spirit of the biggest gambling event of the year, should we take bets on who will be mobile first? ;)
As a side note, this weekend was quite the lucrative one for the Scates household. :) Matt and I don't play the lottery on a regular basis, but both of us had a whim to buy a few lottery tickets in the last few days. He ended up winning $24 and I won $3 (um, woo!). Then, Matt won a quarter for our party Super Bowl squares game and I won a quarter in my office's pool. Finally, Hazel-bear won her first ever betting event by winning one of the quarters in the squares game! I joked that the $25 winnings is going into her college fund...let's see....in 18 years that'll be worth maybe $50? :) But you have to start somewhere, right?
